FaceConnect

Your gate and your attendance, in your pocket

FaceConnect is the app for the people who work at a business that uses FacePass. Visitors ring your phone, you answer in one tap, and your attendance and messages are always at hand.

What you need

  • An Android phone (Android 8.0 or newer)
  • A business that uses FacePass, and app access given to you by your administrator
  • Your Tenant ID, employee code and the activation code from your administrator
  • Notification permission (so a visitor can ring you), and camera and location for attendance if it is switched on for you

FaceConnect works only with an account made by your business's administrator. It is not a separate service: it is the other half of FacePass.

What FaceConnect does

Connect

A visitor rings like a phone call

When someone asks to meet you, FaceConnect rings on your phone even when the app is closed. Approve or reject from the call screen, the banner, the notification or the list, and see the last three months of visitors.

Connect

Attendance on your phone

When your administrator turns it on, mark IN and OUT with your face and your place inside the branch circle on the map. The phone only reports; the server decides, and the record joins the same panel.

Connect

Invite a guest

Create a one-time code for an expected visitor, share it, and follow it in My invites.

Connect

Telegram messages and Contact us

Connect your Telegram chat to receive your attendance messages, and write to your administrator or the FacePass team from the app.

Connect

English and Hindi, light and dark

FaceConnect speaks English and Hindi, follows the light or dark theme, and shows your business's own logo when it starts.

Two apps, one system

How FacePass and FaceConnect work together

The terminal at the gate, the app in your pocket and the panel on the desk all share one business, so what happens in one place shows up in the others straight away.

  1. 1

    One business, one Tenant ID

The administrator adds people in the panel and gives each employee app access: a one-time activation code. The employee opens FaceConnect, enters the Tenant ID, the employee code, the code and a PIN of their own, and is connected to the same business as the terminal.

  2. 2

    A visitor arrives

At the gate the guard registers the visitor on the FacePass terminal (or the visitor fills the form from a QR code) and picks the employee to meet.

  3. 3

    The employee's phone rings

The request reaches that employee's FaceConnect and rings like a call, even when the app is closed. The employee approves or rejects.

  4. 4

    The gate knows at once

The answer returns to the guard's terminal, which lets the visitor in or turns them away. Every step is kept in the visitor log of the panel.

  5. 5

    Invited in advance

An employee can make an invite code in FaceConnect. The visitor shows it at the gate and the guard checks them in without waiting.

  6. 6

    Attendance away from the gate

Where the administrator allows it, employees mark attendance in FaceConnect with their face and location. These records land in the same panel and follow the same shifts as the terminal.

  7. 7

    The panel keeps everyone informed

Attendance messages go by e-mail, Telegram or WhatsApp as the rules say, and an employee connects their Telegram from FaceConnect. Maintenance and support work across both apps.
